I was so disoriented last night. I went to bed at my normal "college" time of 1 am. For some reason, I woke up an hour later thinking it was morning already. As the computer booted up, I realized my mistake, shut down the computer and went to bed. Another 3 hours passed (5 am now), and I woke up again. Looking at the clock I thought it was time to start my day. Halfway through my shower I realize why nobody else is up in my apartment (nor the sun!). I finish my shower (why abandon it now?) and go back to bed again. I didn't wake up until 10:30.

Well, you've probably all figured out who I am for Halloween by now, but I'm gonna say it anyway. I'm Indiana Jones! Woo-hoo! I'll put pics up when (if) I get them!

Woo-hoo! Guess who's finally got the ball rolling on paperwork for his major?
I attended the orientation to get my major today. Turns out 99.9% of the discussion was for ICAM (Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts Major) and not the Media Computing major (what I'm taking). They're similar majors, but have a lot of different classes to take. And the orientation was designed to scare potential ICAM majors from taking it. I want that hour of my life back.

Tuesdays, when the cleaning ladies come to the apartment, can't come soon enough. I swear, some of my apartment mates don't know the meaning of the word "clean."

So, other than watch the two Angels games over the weekend, I also managed to snag a copy of the Star Trek III Special Edition DVD. It's not a Director's Edition like the previous two, sadly, and there aren't any special added special effects like the first movie, but that's okay. I can live with the movie as it came out, even if dad can't...
Anyways, I've already gone through the documentaries and seen the movie with commentary both on and off, so I say, bring on number 4!

Updated the pic on my 12" Wet-Suit page. Wet-Suit looks a lot more like he should now, but it's still not all that great.

Angels have a 2-1 lead, I just finished a chem midterm and feel good about it, and there's no more classes in the day for me. Let's hope this good fortune streak keeps going!

Well, the World Series game 3 is today. I don't know if I'll be watching it, though. I find it hard to sit through a baseball game on tv. Either way, though, go Angels!

You know, I'm sensing a lot of hostility from NorCal people to SoCal people, especially now. Maybe it's just my biased perception of things, but all the NorCal people down here sing praises of how much better NorCal is than SoCal. So why the hell (not "hella") are they down here???

Friday can't come soon enough. That's all I have to say.
(And no, there is no sexual innuendo in the above statement.)

Today we had our apartment fire drill, whereby they wake everyone up at 7:15 in the morning with this god-awful alarm and make you stay outside in the cold for a half-hour. Fun.

Well, I've been given a spot to attend the seminar that will get my Media major declared. It'll be Wednesday, October 30, at Mandeville Hall room 106, from 2 to 3 pm. Note to self: DON"T SCREW THIS UP!!

So Troy's Homecoming game is Friday. I'm supposed to go home for that. But Saturday is UCSD's Open House. My parents are supposed to go to that, for some reason. The solution? I drive down Friday night only to leave again Saturday morning. And what about parking? Hell if I know!

Our fridge is a loaner. See, the refridgerator we got in the apartment wasn't working right (i.e. it wasn't making anything cold). So Maintainance came to try and fix it. I guess they just gave up, 'cause they sent the fridge in on warranty to have it replaced. In the interim, we have a temporary fridge that's been loaned to us by Maintainance. Thus, our fridge is a loaner.

Ok, when was the last time I got excited about baseball? 1988? Well, I'm excited now (but they still keep pre-empting "Simpsons!") The Angels are going to the World Series! And boy, did Minnesota f^&* up big time in the bottom of the seventh inning! 10 hits and 10 runs for the Angels. That was sweet. Wish I had tickets to see the game like my parents did. *grumble* The were 20 feet from the box with Mrs. Autry and Pierce Brosnan!

You know what's been bugging me these past few days? FOX has perpetually pre-empted the Simpsons to show baseball! Now, baseball's nice and the World Series is coming up, but I need my Simpsons fix! (To those of you oh so eager to point out that I have seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, have you ever tried getting a Simpsons fix from just these episodes? It ain't happenin', people!)

My roommate seems to play the same damn mp3s over and over again. And if it's actually a song in English, it's Eminem! Ugh. Oh, and the "repeat song" option on Winamp was made for him...

Well, I started an account at Fark today. Now I can vote on all their Photshop contests! (And most likely ogle all the Boobies links...)

Today I carried one of the apartment tables (the little one) across campus and back. Believe it or not, I needed it for a class project! It was part of the scene preparation for my planned improv. It didn't get many stares while carrying it, but to be fair, I think most of the people were trying to ignore me.

Yesterday I was informed that a person I was partnered with in a college class had changed to a different lecture. Today I found out who the replacement would be. The project is actually performing an improv, only you know what your situation is ahead of time, and you work with you partner to establish a background for your scene; it's not meant to be comedic. So, now I have to perform this scene Monday, but I guess I'll be fine. I mean, it is an improv sketch, and I suppose I could do this without the comedy (though I don't think it's as easy or fun).

You know, I feel like I have no classes. It's a little annoying. I mean, i have three classes, but I just don't feel like I'm working. Ehh... maybe that'll change when I start my homework.

Well, I finally got the NPC Manager I have for Jedi Outcast to work, so now I can still new models and skins into single-player mode. WTF does this mean? Well, instead of using the idiot bot files of the multiplyer mode of Jedi Outcast, I can stick these fan created characters into single-player mode and have them run off the much better AI the non-player characters have!

Woo! I don't have class for another 47 hours! God, I love having Thursdays off!
One more thing: Happy Birthday Little Big Brother!

Ooh, he's going to hurt me for this!

Ok, so the class that sucks this quarter shall be Vis Arts 152. Even the TA thought his first lecture was terrible! I hope there isn't too much work to do for this class!
