A note for future reference: hobby knives are much sharper than the razor blade you're used to using. Take extra caution not to slice your finger like you did yesterday afternoon using the knife for the first time. It bled. A lot. And it hurt. A lot. And now you're afraid to move the finger because of more pain. Banging the finger on its side produces a sharp pang that is not entirely comfortable. Please do not forget this bit of wisdom. Yet Another Tired Installment of Random Thoughts for the Day: - Saw Balls of Fury today. Lemme just say, very funny movie and Maggie Q is hotter than she has a right to be. There, now that we have that out of the way.... - Finally taking advantage of all that money I spent for the James Bond Ultimate Edition DVD sets. Mostly, I've been watching the making of documentaries on the second discs, but I have been filling gaps in my Bond films vernacular. Too bad my From Russia with Love DVD won't play and I really have no way of returning it! - Last night, while trying to fall asleep, I kept thinking up new gags and story for my next G.I. Joe dio-story. Yes, I'm doing another; it's time. I'm sure it would have been funny to those observing, but every time I felt I was getting to the point of falling asleep, I'd think up a new joke or story element, get out of bed, and write it down on paper by the computer. Maybe I should have moved the pad closer to the bed, but I use it as my mousepad! Now I've got 2 and a half ages filled with nonsense that makes sense to no one but me Should be fun. Keep an eye out for G.I. Joe: Quest for Sugar. - See, with a title like that I've got your curiosity piqued! This is either gonna really suck or really be awesome. - New custom! I know it's been 10 days since my last post, but honestly, this time wasn't my fault! I wanted to let you know that Mike flew back home last Tuesday, or about the trouble I'm having with my From Russia with Love DVD. Truly, I did. But my webhost is going through server issues, and there were a few days where I couldn't even log into my website. In fact, it's something of a crapshoot whether or not this post will ever be shown! You may not notice it except on this page, but I've overhauled most of the html on this site. Hopefully any of you who have bookmarked this page should still be alright. Basically, I cleaned up my code and chucked out the layers on my pages. Yes, I've finally given up on layers. Kind of annoying to see a page go totally out of whack the instant someone uses a different resolution than me. So now most pages have a more stable and defined set of tables to keep everything in place. Looks much nicer, too. Wednesday, August 15, 2007
On Monday I had an interview, my first in weeks. IT would be for an animation company, which is a bit different than what I'm used to, but it still sounds very interesting. Mike's been in town since Saturday, there was a large wine party on Sunday, I got some G.I. Joe stuff on Tuesday, and I got a nibble from my job search today! There, now you're all caught up! Sure, it's a short update, but I'm short on material! Whaddaya want? |
