We went to Disneyland for a few hours today, just to check out the Halloween decorations. It seems like we haven’t had enough times to visit the parks as regularly as we did in previous years, yet we’ve still had quite a few visits this year. With the opening of the new lands at California Adventure, there’s been lots of stuff to see and do, so it isn’t as if we haven’t been doing anything with our passes. I just think there’s a bit of a growing disconnect between ourselves and the park. I don’t know. At any rate, I know I’ll be back very soon to check out the Christmas decorations.
– Saw Expendables 2 last night with the girlfriend. This pic should really be called Manliness: The Movie. Needless to say, I loved it. Bring on the third one!
– Cars Land and Buena Vista Street at California Adventure? Holy crap, this park might actually be worth visiting all day now!
– Transformers: Rescue Bots just wrapped up its first season today. How can a show aimed at young children be so dang fun? Can’t wait for season 2.
– Today’s post has all been about entertainment. Didn’t really intend for that to happen, but oh well!
Mom and I went to Disneyland today to try check out the new stuff. We actually got to the park before opening, so when we were able, mom got into the Star Tours line, and I went for the Fastpass line. I got the Fastpass after about 10 minutes, so I got mom out of line. Why? So we could park hop to California Adventure for the Little Mermaid ride! We were actually there for opening as well, so mom got in line while I waited for Word of Color tickets. This worked out incredibly well, as the line for Little Mermaid was really short at that time, practically a walk-on. When we got out, it was time for breakfast on Main Street, U.S.A., and then Star Tours 2.0. With the Fastpasses, the wait was only about 5 minutes. I seriously did not expect my plan to work this well. Oh, Star Tours is definitely worth the hype. Can’t wait to go back and see the other segments!
