I've survived another barrage of Wednesday classes and come out relatively intact. During my hour break, I decided to pop into the campus bookstore and pick up something I'd been eyeing for a few weeks. For a school bookstore, UCSD seems to have a good selection of comic book trades and anime. I'd been looking at getting the "Essential X-Men" books for a while now. They're just trade paperbacks of the 70's and 80's X-Men comics, about 20 issues at a time. The bookstore had all four volumes there for $15 apiece. The only downside is that they're not in color. I figured it wasn't that big a deal to me and decided to pick 'em up. Hopefully, I should have a lot of fun reading them.
