Well, after a brief battle trying to get my computer to recognize that the VCR was connected to it, I managed to capture my 16mm film footage onto the computer and assemble a rough cut. I'll be showing this in class tomorrow for the teacher to see. The idea for the project is that this is some old foreign, instructional film, from around the 1940s or '50s, but given the wrong subtitles, with hopefully hilarious results. The only thing left is to create the subtitles and put in some fanfare-type music.
