Since I don't know when or if a new volume of Essential X-Men will come out, I've been hunting down trades of all the old X-Men crossover events. I figure that even if new Essential volumes do come out, they probably won't collect the issues that aren't part of the Uncanny X-Men title. So I have something to look for that won't be just a complete waste of money. (Plus, it's in color!) So far I've tracked down:

-"Rise of the Phoenix"(Three issues detailing Jean Grey's first return from the dead)
-"Mutant Massacre" (Mr. Sinister's Marauder's killing off the Morlocks)
-"Fall of the Mutants" (actually three different storylines in three different titles under the same crossover banner)
-"Inferno" (Madeleine Pryor goes crazy and transforms New York with help from demons)
-"Asgardian Wars" (the X-Men and co. fight Loki)

I still want "X-tinction Agenda" and possibly "X-Cutioner's Song" and the "Phalanx Covenant" before I stop. I've collected the issues comprising "Fatal Attractions" so I needn't bother with that. I know there are more crossover's out there ("Age of Apocalypse" comes to mind, which I have a lot of), but after this point the crossovers become to large to collect individually (Operation: Zero Tolerance, Onslaught), or haven't been made into trades.
