I did some driving yesterday, first to Irvine to pick up a gift card for a Secret Santa thing for mom's work, then to Westminster to pick up Ken, then to Anaheim to spend a few hours, back to Westminster to drop off Ken, and finally back home. Disneyland was fun, bright and shiny with all the Christmas decorations, but California Adventure was still boring as hell. Hardly any decorations up when compared to the other park.

Anyways, the big news was when Mike called me as we were waiting in line to get Ken's ticket. Turns out that Mike finally got accepted into a medical school. It's in Missouri, though. But now that we know he has somewhere to go, we can relax as we hope for an acceptance to a college a little closer to home.
