Happy birthday, Mike! (I just wanted to mention that before the day ended.) Mom and I went to Disneyland today, but not to ride any of the attractions, really. Haunted Mansion Holiday opened up this weekend, to be sure, and both of us rode it before we left. But there was a merchandise event going on today celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Mickey Mouse Club. As part of the goings-on, ten of the original Mouseketeers showed up to answer questions and sign autographs. I knew mom would like this when I found out about it. She ended up waiting 4 and a half hours in the standby line to get their signatures. She finally did, too, after quite some time wondering if she would be allowed to get them.
