I guess it's been a while since my last update. My internship is moving along as normal, except that now they've hired a few more interns for the office. The end result is that I'm not alone in the lobby for most of the day. Sure, the agents are only five feet from me, but it's nice to have someone next to me that I can talk to. I'm still getting used to my contacts, but I'd like to think I'm getting better at getting them out and in. It doesn't take two hours now, more like five minutes, but I do still have the occasional hiccup. Take, for example, Monday night when I had trouble getting out the left lens. I think I ended up plucking my eyeball a few times trying to grab the lens. I finally got it off, but my eye was so red and so sore that I didn't wear the contacts at all on Tuesday. But I'm better now.
