I really didn't mention this back on Monday, mostly because I didn't think I could fill it out enough to be a full post, but also because I'm lazy. Amidst the heavy rainfall on Monday, it hailed at my house! I was sitting at my computer around 1 in the afternoon when suddenly there came some loud smacks from my window. I look up to see white little spheres accumulating on the roof in front of me! I took as few pictures of the street out front from the upstairs windows, but it wasn't until later that I saw the flooding occurring at the same time. You really couldn't see the street 20 feet away from my front door. When the rain calmed down enough I went outside to take some better photos of the hail that remained. It was kinda surreal. The fact that it took overnight to melt made it even bizarre. I think it may be the closest thing I'll see to snow here in the suburbs of Southern California.
