I haven't really been posting much at all this month, huh? My bad. I guess I just don't think I have all that much to talk about. But I do, really.

Today at 2 I have an interview for a paying job. Paying, for once! It's also on the Culver Studios lot, so maybe I'll have some fun surroundings if I get the job. The job itself is pretty much like my present one, only with gopher jobs around LA. The only potential problem with this is that the job would start the 24th, the day after Comic Con.

And speaking of Comic Con, I sent out my now annual Comic Con Survival Guide through e-mail this week. It's more or less a collection of common sense and not so known tips to better maximize the convention experience. Some are no-brainers - comfy shoes, have a backpack, bring food, and what have you. Some not so much - bring a poster tube (you often can get one free, and it sucks having to carry around a poster all day), make a shopping list beforehand, and check out the scheduling now. Just little things I've found in my experience to be good to know. On the off-chance that any of you reading this are with our group and would like to get a copy of this, let me know.

And it looks like we'll have quite a number of people crammed into our little hotel room. We couldn't bum someone's apartment this year, so for the first time, we're actually paying for housing accommodations. And we split the cost with however many will be staying in the room. And from the looks of things, that cost will be very cheap.
