So I came within an inch of dying just now. There's not much to the story but the punchline is that there was a black widow in the mailbox. My hand came within a centimeter of it! Anyways, I planned to drive back home last night, but I got a call for an interview today at 11. Even after locking myself out of the car at a malfunctioning parking meter, I managed not to screw up too much during the next two and a half hours. I got a job. It may not necessarily be the one I applied for, but I got a job.
