Very busy day today! The folks aren't yet home, and I'm about to watch Conan the Barbarian on DVD (Wal-Mart had both movies bundled together cheap). To briefly recap: I met up with Mai around 9:30 in the morning and we drove to LA to see the Star Wars exhibit at the ScienCenter in Exposition Park. We really weren't interested in any of the science stuff (kinda negating the point of the show, but whatever) and loved all the costumes and models on display there. We went through it kind of quickly, just long enough to get pictures of all of the movie stuff. We then went off to lunch across the street at a Chipotle. Next door was a Cold Stone Creamery, so we had a little dessert there. Back to Exposition Park to walk around the Natural History Museum - fun as always, and Mai's first time there, too. As an aside, Exposition Park has really changed since I was last there! The Imax has moved, the surrounding buildings are different, the science museum is different, and there's construction everywhere! After that we drove to Frank and Son's, then the AI arcade, then the comic book store at Beach and Ball. At this point Nammy called to hang out with us at the Anaheim Ice rink. Mai and I had a quick dinner of Weinerschnitzel before driving to the ice rink. Stayed there until 9 before going home. I just got in 10 minutes ago!
