What was for the most part a very happy day has ended in a bit of tragedy, I'm afraid. I wanted to talk about the new high-definition tv my parents got yesterday. Or getting Battlestar Galactica on dvd. Instead, I'm trying to find a way to respectfully word this. How can I type the news here without it being cheapened somehow, by being broadcast freely across the internet? This log is meant to be an archive of my thoughts and actions and the experiences I have faced. With that in mind, I cannot let this event go unsaid. My father's cousin, battling cancer for the better part of a year now, passed away an hour ago. This is not wholly unexpected, as we were told he probably would have died within the week, but it is regrettable, none the less. We can take comfort knowing his suffering is over, at least. Wes, we hardly knew ye.
